Mode of Assessment
The course has the following assessment components: Written Examination (2 hours, 70%). Course Work Section (2 pieces, 30%).

Late Policy

The departmental guideline on late policies for coursework submissions allows for individual regulations for each course. In COMP 3085 / M085 / GV15, the late policy is as follows: Submissions after the deadline but within 24 hours of it will be marked down to 95% of the number of points achieved. Submissions later than 24 hours, but within 48 hours from the deadline will be marked down to 80% of the number of points achieved. Submissions later than 48 hours will receive 0%.

Pass Requirements
To pass this course, students registered in GV15 or M085 must: Obtain an average of at least 50% when the coursework and exam components of the course are weighted together. To pass this course, students registered in 3085 must: Obtain an average of at least 40% when the coursework and exam components of the course are weighted together.
