I spent last week in the lovely city of Leipzig for the ICSE08 conference. The beginning of our stay there coincided with a large gothic convention, which provided an interesting juxtaposition, and a few interesting nights out.

The conference itself was really good, I met lots of interesting people and the standard of research talks was really high. My own talk started off with the session chair not turning up, then I was introduced as ‘Wolfgang Emmerich’ by mistake. Still, it got a laugh, and the rest of the talk went reasonably well. Thanks to everyone who came along.
