British Machine Vision Conference 2009The British Machine Vision Conference is the main UK conference on machine vision and the related areaas. Organized by the British Machine Vision Association, the 20'th BMVC will be held in London and jointly run by Queen Mary and UCL. (Large file - 33Mb, Requires Acrobat 6.0 or higher). 22-Aug-09 BMVC will be filmed this year and the talks made available for free at www.videolectures.net. 21-Aug-09 The workshop programme has now been posted. 11-Aug-09 Information for presenters has now been posted. 05-Aug-09 The full programme is now posted. 13-Jul-09 Conference statistics now posted. View submissions by country, acceptances by country and acceptance rates by country. The country was assigned based on the e-mail address of the first author. 03-Jul-09 Tutorial topic is now posted. 29-Jun-09 Registration is now open. Register early to guarantee on-site accomodation. 22-Jun-09 Final decisions have been made. 30 papers were accepted for oral presentation (9% acceptance for oral) and 95 for poster presentation (38% overall acceptance). Paper titles are now online. 06-May-09 Papers have now been distributed to reviewers. 03-May-09 Paper submission is now closed. There were 325 complete papers submitted. Statistics concerning the provenance of these submissions can be found here. 24-Apr-09 Due to overwhelming demand, the paper submission deadline has been postponed to 23:59 Sunday 3rd May, GMT. This deadline is absolute and no further extensions will be given. In order to have your paper considered you must also register your paper with the CMT submission system by 23:59 GMT Monday 27th April to assist reviewer allocation. Please submit a title and draft abstract by this time. You will still be able to make edits and upload new paper drafts until the final deadline. 24-Apr-09 A paper preparation FAQ has been added to the submission page.
