29th Int. Conference on Software Engineering® 20 - 26 May 2007

Arriving in Minneapolis

The Minneapolis/St. Paul International Airport is conveniently located within 30 minutes of downtown Minneapolis.

Travelers can use a variety of ground transportation to reach the city center.

Travel To/From the Airport via Light Rail

The cheapest way to get from the airport to the Hilton is via the light rail. Trains run every 10 to 15 minutes and tickets are about $2 - depending on the time of day. Tickets must be purchased prior to getting on the train and are available at the machines in the station in the airport. Just follow the signs and you'll find it. Get on a train going in the "Minneapolis/Downtown" direction and get off at the Nicollet Mall stop. Walk 5 blocks down Nicollet Avenue - a street only open to busses to 10th Street S, turn left and go one block and you will find the Hilton. This map shows the area and the route if you were driving, but you're not, so ignore what Google tells you and follow Nicollet Ave south (the greyed out street).
