ICSE 2007 will take place in Minneapolis, MN. A lush green environment combined with contemporary architecture and 22 lakes within the city limits makes the city a unique combination of natural beauty and sophistication.
The city is at the heart of a major high-technology area, with extensive research and development in the health care and computer industries. It is also the home of four public and eight private colleges and universities.
The Minneapolis area offers a wide variety of recreational opportunities including amusement parks, aquariums, casinos, sporting venues, theaters, malls, museums, and zoos.
The conference location is the Hilton Minneapolis, a spacious modern hotel located adjacent to the Nicollett Mall. This open-air mall is home to tree-shaded benches, fountains, a farmers' market in summer, street musicians and a number of big-city-caliber shopping and dining options. The hotel is also connected to the famous Skyway system. One floor above ground, this seven-mile system links shopping, restaurants, entertainment and more, with enclosed walkways. It connects 72 blocks of downtown Minneapolis. The links to the left provide additional information to help acquaint you with Minneapolis and the surrounding area.
